An Adventure in Space and Time

Last night’s account of how Doctor Who originated in the 1960s was a great watch. Very well-paced and heartwarming.

Also, the above scene had the potential to be cheesy but I thought it was rather a nice touch.

I didn’t start watching Doctor Who until David Tennant took up residence in the TARDIS, and then I was hooked. I must admit, however, that I haven’t really looked much further back than the 2005 reboot to see how the show has progressed over the last fifty years.

This morning’s Google Doodle is also kind of awesome.

Update: This Guardian article documents the process of how the ‘Whodle’ came about.
